The K&M is a Flat-base Lighting Stand in Black. The sturdy steel support is meant to save floor space. Instead of folding legs, the 38.5 lb stand uses a heavy cast baseplate that can be stepped on if need be. The two-section stand has a height adjustment range of 55 to 94.5″, a footprint of 21.7 x 21.7″, and is air-cushioned to prevent impact damage when making height adjustments. The top section measures 1.37″ in diameter and has an M10 threaded bushing for mounting items such as crossbars.
